HL-SJ301 is a silicon-calcium type sintered flux. It has a basicity of approximately 1.0, appears as gray spherical particles with a particle size of 2.0-0.28mm (10-60 mesh). It features excellent welding process performance, stable arc combustion, easy slag removal, and aesthetically pleasing weld formation. The molten slag has short slag physical characteristics and does not flow when welding small-diameter circumferential seams, making it particularly suitable for welding various types of circumferential seams. It can be used with both AC and DC power sources; when DC welding, the welding wire should be connected to the positive electrode.
